The very first Scars of Mirrodin card has been announced. For those of you want to keep virgin knowledge of the set to come, stop reading now. But if you're feeling bad, continue.
It's good to be bad sometimes.
Check out Sword of Body and Mind:
Sword of Body and Mind (3)
Artifact -- Equipment (Mythic)
Equip -- 2
Equipped creature gets +2/+2 and has protection from blue and green. Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, put the top ten cards of that player's library into the graveyard and put a 2/2 wolf token into play.
And when a creature wields the Sword of Body and Mind, he will be a threat.
Like Sword of Fire and Ice and Sword of Light and Shadow, Sword of Body and Mind grants +2/+2 to the equipped creature and protection from two enemy colors. In this case, those colors are blue and green.

The original two swords
While you won't see many blue and green removal spells being played, the ability to not get blocked by blue creatures (such as Wall of Denial, Calcite Snapper, etc.) and green creatures (Overgrown Battlement, Avenger of Zendikar + tokens, etc.) as well as being able to block against them is good.
Outside of limited formats, the ability to shave 10 cards off the top of your opponent's library is a lucksack to many people. Some games key cards are sent to the graveyard while other attempts send a pocket of lands to the graveyard.
However, there is a way to use it to positive benefits.
If you can hit some good cards with SoBM, then Haunting Echoes answers the rest of the copies.
Besides that, I believe the best way to use SoBM is just to equip it and attack away. If the original wielder gets destroyed, you can equip the wolf created for a 4/4 critter. And the threats continue so long as the opponent can't answer the sword and block the creatures equipped.
The card has a ton of potential. Is it top tier? I think it's too early to say. Stay tuned for more Scars of Mirrodin!
