Pollers Not Torn Over Favorite Eldrazi

Hey all,

In a recent poll, the most popular Rise of Eldrazi card as voted is...

Emrakul, the Aeons Torn

Eldrazi Poll Results
the visuals

Ulamog and Kozilek are tied for 2nd.

My guess: Emrakul just has a place everywhere.

Standard - Clarion Ultimatum decks, Polymorph
Extended - Hypergenesis
Legacy - Sneak Attack
Vintage - Oath of Druids/Dragon Breath

You can put use him in every format.  His "shroud" ability protects him from a list of targeted removal, a few including Swords to Plowshares, Path to Exile, and Doom Blade.  Should you hard cast him (or pseudo-hard cast him through Clarion Ultimatum), his Time Walk ability stops all sorcery-speed removal for that time.  However, if you cheat him out and attack with him, his 15/15 body, annihilator 6, and flying make sure that you're able to put the hurting on your opponent.

Emrakul, the Aeons Torn
Now with more tentacles than a Japanese hentai!

Be sure to vote in the new poll.  Do you want blue to get a decent counterspell like Mana Leak or Rune Snag?  Do you want black to get reusable card draw like Phyrexian Arena or Dark Confidant?  Or is there another card that you want your favorite color to get?

What color do you want to see most improved in Magic 2011?  Vote now in the new poll to the right.

Until next time,
